April was born and raised in New Zealand. She graduated from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy.
After graduation, she worked with children in a number of different settings, but mostly Early Childhood Education.
Following that, she has spent the last 8 years with her own babies and preschoolers; during which time she and her husband Matt moved from New Zealand to Amarillo with their three children Frazer, Mitchell and Jasmine.
She believes it is never too early to start teaching children the truths of the bible and instilling in them the love of God.
She is excited to be part of a team of staff and volunteers that love Jesus, kids and fun.
